Carroll Tire Co., a subsidiary of TBC Corp., recently acquired Eldorado Tire of Kentucky’s wholesale and distribution operations.
TBC already has begun integrating the business, which consists of two distribution centers located in Knoxville, Tenn., and Louisville, Ky., into Carroll Tire’s operations.
“The acquisition of Eldorado of Kentucky is another strategic addition to TBC and Carroll Tire," says Erik Olsen, TBC's chief operating officer. "Eldorado of Kentucky has been a significant customer of Treadways for over 40 years.
"Carroll Tire will continue to provide exceptional customer service with an expanded product offering to Eldorado’s current customers and all independent tire dealers in the Louisville and Knoxville markets.”
When the integration is completed, the distribution centers will continue to service Kentucky, northern Tennessee, southern Indiana and southern Ohio.
