March 27, 2012

Erik Olsen's responsibilities at TBC continue to grow. The CEO and president of the TBC Wholesale Group will add chief operating officer of TBC Corp. to his list of titles on April 1, 2012.

"Erik’s role with TBC Corp. has continued to grow and evolve since he joined us in 2004," says Larry Day, chairman, CEO and president. "He continuously excels in his roles at TBC and is a valuable leader in our organization. We trust that Erik’s strategic leadership will strengthen our position in the marketplace.”

No stranger to multiple positions, Olsen joined TBC as senior vice president and chief marketing officer in December 2004. He added president of Carroll Tire Co. to his duties from 2005 to 2008, and was named executive vice president of TBC in January 2007.

Olsen was elected to the TBC Corp. board of directors in 2008.

Prior to joining TBC, Olsen held various senior management positions with Michelin North America Inc., including vice president of sales. Prior to joining Michelin in 1996, he held marketing and sales positions of increasing responsibility with Procter & Gamble, The Clorox Co. and Ralston Foods, a division of Ralcorp Holdings Inc.

Headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., TBC is one of the nation's largest marketers of automotive replacement tires. For more information on TBC and its multi-channel strategy, check out these links:
