New TPMS sofware focuses on Toyota Camry

March 22, 2012

Bartec USA LLC has a software update for its range of tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) tools. The new R47 update includes coverage for the 2012 Toyota Camry, which features yet another new sensor protocol and vehicle communication specification.

The software, which features improved tool battery monitoring and improved aftermarket sensor handling, also covers the 2012 Kia Rio.

According to CEO and General Manager Scot Holloway, Bartec’s Tech400SD tool helps avoid the “make inoperative" trap. “Some TPMS tools hunt and that will ultimately lead to confusion during the repair.”

Bartec also launched its latest "Vehicle of the Month Video" that walks you through the TPMS relearn for the 2012 Toyota Camry. All registered users can log into Bartec’s website at www.bartecusa.com and watch this brief and informative “how to” video.
