The 2012 K&M Tire Dealer Trade Show was packed with retail and commercial tire dealers who came to Las Vegas, Nev., to see what the wholesale distributor and its vendors had to offer.
On Jan. 19, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. previewed its new all-season tire at the trade show. The Goodyear Assurance CS TripleTread All Season tire was designed for crossover vehicles ("C") and SUVs ("S").
The CS version of the TripleTread All Season powerline will be available in 22 sizes by the end of the year. Fourteen sizes already are available. There are four 16-inch sizes: P225/70R16 101T, P235/70R16 104T, P245/70R16 106T and P265/70R16 111T.
There are six 17-inch sizes: 225/65R17 102H, 235/60R17 102H, 235/65R17 104H, P245/65R17 105T, 255/60R17 106H and P265/65R17 110T. There are four 18-inch sizes: 235/60R18 103H, P235/65R18 104H, 255/55R18 109H and P265/65R18 112H.
The other eight sizes will be rolled out as follows:
January: P265/70R17 113T.
February: P215/70R16 99T, 245/60R18 105H, P255/65R18 109T, P255/70R18 112T and P245/55R19 103T.
Q4: 235/55R18 104V and 235/55R19 101V.
Goodyear will officially introduce the Assurance CS TripleTread All Season tire at its own dealer meeting in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 29-31, 2012.
