Aftersoft takes software to Goodyear dealers

Jan. 5, 2012

Aftersoft Network N.A. will continue to take its updated VAST Enterprise business management software on the road.

After the latest point-of-sale version was "well received" at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nev., last November, Aftersoft will follow up by exhibiting at this year's Goodyear Dealer Conference. The dealer meeting will be held at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Fla., from Jan. 29-31.

Aftersoft also had chaired a "successful" Goodyear User Group Meeting in November.

"With VAST Enterprise, Aftersoft is committed to delivering better business management software at a better price," says John Fischer, vice president of sales and marketing. "Hundreds of Goodyear dealers already rely on VAST to improve profitability, productivity and their level of customer service."

At the SEMA Show, Aftersoft had two significant announcements.

1. Its new smartphone app for VAST Enterprise software provides real time reporting of sales information, allowing data to be filtered by individual branches and even by salesperson, according to Fischer.

"Compatible with Apple iOS and Android devices, the app complements and extends the functionality of VAST and keeps managers in the loop wherever they are."

2. The latest versions of VAST Enterprise contain several significant enhancements. "CARQUEST WebLink and Autozone's eCatalog are now integrated with VAST Enterprise Retail, providing shop locations with the ability to purchase products electronically when doing outside purchases and stock replenishment," says Fischer.

The new version also allows "quick quotes" issued over the phone to be delivered directly to the customer by e-mail or FAX.

VAST is designed for single and multi-location tire and auto service dealers. For more information, visit www.aftersoftna.com.
