Bridgestone Bandag LLC has introduced its BDY2a severe service tread rubber to the North American market.
Working with Canadian fleets, Bandag specifically engineered this retread tire design for severe service conditions, say Bandag officials.
The tread boasts an extra deep block and open shoulders. It is available in tire sizes 210mm, 220mm and 230mm.
"Our retread tire design complements the new Bridgestone M775 on/off highway radial tires," says Chris Hoffman, product manager, global tire products, Bandag.
