Watts Tyre Group has named David Brown general manager of its Watts USA unit.
Brown will oversee the U.K.-based industrial tire manufacturer's United States operations.
A 20-year industrial tire veteran, Brown was president of Southern Industrial Tire of Central Florida as well as Southern Industrial Tire & Wheel.
"Following Watts USA's acquisition of DiPrima Tires' industrial tire division in March 2007, Watts is now well-placed to continue its expansion into the U.S. market," say Watts officials.
