Coming off record sales in 2007, Marangoni Tread North America Inc. has established a new sales area, the central region, which brings its total number of sales regions to four.
The other regions are Northeast, Southeast, and West, say Marangoni officials.
Marangoni has hired Doug Edwardsen to be responsible for the Central Region. It also has appointed Don Hunkeapillar to run the Southeast Region.
Edwardsen, a former Bandag Inc. executive, has more than 25 years of industry experience in fleet and dealer sales.
A 20-year industry veteran, Hunkeapillar has worked for McGriff Industries, and most recently with Tire Centers LLC as a region manager in charge of six commercial stores and two retread shops.
