Michelin has Two Tweel Tread Patterns for Skid Steers and OE Mower Fitment

Groupe Michelin continues the development of its airless radial tire, the Tweel. The company announced two new tread patterns for skid steers plus an OE fitment with John Deere & Co.'s ZTrak 900 Series of zero-turn commercial mowers. The 12N16.5X Tweel SSL All-Terrain has a deep, open tread for off-road applications. The heavy-duty poly-resin spokes are designed to self-evacuate in muddy conditions. The 12N16.5X Tweel SSL Hard Surface tire features a smooth tread and provides longer wear life on pavement and asphalt. The Michelin X Tweel Turf will be OE to replace a standard 24x12x12 tire on select John Deere commercial mowers. It will be available on the 54-, 60- and 72-inch deck sizes.
