The new Formula Driver II for long haul and regional all-position applications is designed to provide mileage, safety and durability.
An optimized tread pattern featuring siping at the groove edges resists irregular wear. Large circumferential grooves combine with the optimized structure to provide better stability and handling on dry and wet conditions. Stone ejector elements at the bottom of the grooves prevent stone trapping, improving retreadability and durability.
The Formula Driver II is available now and is the first tire to be released in Pirelli's Tier 2 Formula product line. Pirelli has trademarked SATT technology — Spiral Advanced Technology for Truck. For the Formula Driver II the technology was engineered to enhance uniform wear, tire life, handling and retreadability.
Formula brand tires are supplied to the North American market by TP Commerical Solutions LLC, a Pirelli business unit based in Rome, Ga.
