Rotary Lift Trio Arms Standard on SmartLift Medium-Duty In-ground Lift

Nov. 1, 2016

Rotary Lift’s Trio Arms are now standard on its medium-duty SL212 12,000 lb. capacity SmartLift in-ground lift, making it easier for technicians to work on a wide range of cars, trucks and vans.

Trio Arms, standard on 10,000 lb. capacity SmartLift in-ground lifts since 2011, provide an 18% wider reach than standard arms and a sliding adapter system that enables technicians to more quickly and precisely spot a vehicle.

“We want to get technicians off the ground and working faster and Trio Arms are all about productivity. Technicians can simply slide the lightweight adapter to the desired position, without getting on their hands and knees to reach under the vehicle,” says Jim Dirksen, vice president, light duty sales for Rotary Lift. “These unique lift arms save technicians time, stress and energy. Their productivity-enhancing versatility, ease-of-use and precision make them very popular with technicians, service managers and shop owners.”

Trio Arms provide all the capabilities of regular three-stage arms in a more versatile package. On Trio Arms, the third telescoping arm segment is replaced with an integrated lightweight sliding adapter assembly. This design enables technicians to easily switch between three-position flip-up adapters for body-on-frame vehicles, round polymer adapters for unibody vehicles, and thread-up truck adapters depending on the job at hand. The adapters can be rotated 360 degrees and easily slide along the lift arm, enabling technicians to make precise adjustments to the adapter location when setting up the lift.

Environmentally responsible Rotary Lift Smartlift in-ground lifts are made from recycled materials, are contained in a polymer housing which protects the lift and the environment, and are bio-fluid compatible, using 95% less oil than traditional style in-ground lifts, says the company. They have a small footprint, making it possible to install more lifts in less space, which translates into lower construction costs and increased shop profits.

Trio Arms are standard on both the SL212 SmartLift in-ground lift and the ShockWave-equipped SL212SW SmartLift models. The SL212SW SmartLift can raise a vehicle 83 inches off the ground in just 30 seconds and lower it in 19 seconds. This speed enables technicians to complete more jobs per day, making more money for themselves and their shops.

Made in Madison, Ind., SmartLift in-ground lifts are ALI gold-label certified to meet industry safety and performance standards.
