AME International LLC has introduced the Wedgie, a tire bead wedge used to assist in breaking beads on earthmover, agriculture, construction and forestry tires.
The company says the Wedgie allows for a bead breaker to fit between tire and wheel. The Wedgie’s high impact nylon material prevents metal on metal contact, preserving the wheel from marring. The Wedgie is sold separately and is also available in cases of 16.
The company suggests use with AME’s 8-pound soft blow hammer.
