Nokian Taps Manager of Its Russian Operations for Interim President and CEO

Nokian Tyres plc has named Andrei Pantioukhov interim president and CEO effective Jan. 1, 2017. He will also continue to serve in his current role of general manager of Nokian’s Russian operations.

Pantioukhov, 44, joined Nokian in 2004 as general manager of Nokian Tyres Russia. He became a Nokian vice president in 2009. Since the beginning of 2016, he has served as executive vice president for Nokian and general manager of Nokian Tyres Russia.

Nokian Tyres' current president and CEO, Ari Lehtoranta, resigned his position in September 2016 in order to pursue opportunities outside of the company. Lehtoranta has served as president and CEO since Oct. 1, 2014.
