Falken’s ‘Grip the Moment’ Ad Campaign Grabs Awards

Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc.'s Falken Tires brand has won four Davey Awards for outstanding creative design from the International Academy of the Visual Arts.

The Davey Awards are presented annually for outstanding work in a variety of visual fields. Falken Tire received multiple gold and silver awards for its “Grip the Moment” advertising campaign.

The company says the “Grip the Moment” integrated ad campaign highlights the many adventures and activities Falken Tires provides by connecting people to their destination.  ­

“We are excited to receive this recognition from leading professionals acknowledging the work that our Falken marketing team is doing to elevate the brand,” says Rick Brennan, vice president of marketing for the Falken brand. “We thank the International Academy of Visual Arts for these four awards and value the Davey Awards as a prestigious honor.”

Falken brand tires are manufactured by Sumitomo Rubber Industries. The Falken Tires division is headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., which also serves as the West Coast distribution center. Falken Tires currently markets 14 car and light-truck tire models under seven lines in nine categories and 300 sizes, while also offering a full lineup of medium truck (OTR) tires for commercial use. Additional distribution locations are in Illinois, New Jersey, Texas and Florida.
