Permatex Gel Threadlockers are available in two strengths: medium strength blue and high strength red.
The company says the unique, gel formula works with a clinging action to assure that the threadlocker is applied with precision and stays on the fastener during assembly, even in overhead, vertical, and hard-to-reach applications.
Blue medium strength gel threadlocker is an all-purpose, medium strength threadlocker for use on bolts from ¼- to ¾-inch diameter. Red high strength gel threadlocker is designed for heavy-duty fasteners from 3/8- to 1-inch diameter.
