Nexen Tire America Inc. has named 28-year tire industry veteran John Hagan as executive vice president of sales. He is based out of the company’s Diamond Bar, Calif., office.
The position became effective Dec. 1, 2016.
Hagan will be responsible for replacement market growth and will lead Nexen’s internal and external sales teams.

Hagan comes to Nexen from Linglong Americas Inc., where he served as chief operating officer and president of sales and marketing operations since March 2015. Prior to joining Linglong Americas, he was national sales vice president at Kumho Tire U.S.A. Inc. His experience also includes Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. and Pirelli Tire North America Inc.
Additionally, Nexen has hired Jeffrey Perry as its new director of corporate accounts effective Dec. 1, 2016.
Perry’s responsibilities will be to manage current national accounts while strategically looking to build upon existing business. Perry also worked at Linglong Americas and Kumho.
