The new Sumitomo all-season tire is designed for sport cars, sedans and CUVs and features a unique, advanced tread design to reduce the risk of hydroplaning.

TBC Brands LLC has introduced the Sumitomo HTR A/S P03 all-season tire, which is available in 75 sizes.

“The next generation A/S P03 outperforms its predecessor, the coveted Sumitomo HTR A/S P02, in ride comfort, wet braking, tread life and winter traction, while maintaining the same outstanding dry braking and reduced road noise,” say TBC officials.

Designed for sport cars, sedans and CUVs, the tire features a unique, advanced tread design to reduce the risk of hydroplaning, plus 3D sipes that offer optimal contact with the road for improved bite and the prevention of irregular wear. It fits rims ranging from 15 inches to 20 inches in diameter and comes in a variety of speed ratings.

“The HTR A/S P03’s lineup is market-focused on larger rim diameters and higher speed ratings to capture the trends of the fastest growing segments,” notes Jon Vance, senior vice president of product marketing for TBC Corp.

“This tire was designed for dealers seeking an exclusive, high quality product with top-tier performance, all while offering improved profitability. The A/S P03 is a great addition to Sumitomo’s full product lineup and answers the end-users' need for a remarkable high-performance ride.”

The HTR A/S P03 is available with a 65,000-mile limited treadwear warranty in H- and V-rated sizes and a 45,000-mile limited treadwear warranty in W-rated sizes. It also comes with a one-year road hazard protection plan, two-year 24/7 roadside assistance coverage and a 30-day free test drive.
