Robert Bosch LLC added 170 part numbers November 2016 to its aftermarket product lineup. Additions were made to the braking, rotating machine, spark plug, oxygen sensor, engine management and fuel pump product lines.
Brake pads
Two new SKUs have been added to the Bosch QuietCast Brake Pad product line, extending coverage for late-model Domestic vehicles. The new Bosch QuietCast Brake Pad set SKUs cover over 1.3 million units in operation in the U.S. including the 2013-2016 Ford Fusion, 2013-2016 Lincoln MKZ and 2014-2016 Jeep Cherokee V6 3.2L.
The company says all Bosch premium QuietCast Disc Brake Pads feature friction formulas specific to the application – semi-metallic, NAO or copper-free ceramic – and include synthetic lubricant for all applications.
Two new Bosch Blue Brake Pad set SKU have been added, covering 1.1 million units in operation. The part numbers cover models including the 2013-2016 Ford Fusion and 2013-2016 Lincoln MKZ.
The company says Bosch Blue Brake Pads are designed to deliver quality and performance and are ideal for the shop owner who is a “generalist” and is looking to provide customers with the best value.
Bosch Blue Brake Pads come towel-wrapped on select applications for added protection and value. The material used is similar to the shop towels that technicians use on a daily basis when working on their customers’ vehicles.

Rotors
102 new SKUs have been introduced to the Bosch QuietCast Rotors line, offering coverage for Domestic, Asian and European vehicles.
The new part numbers cover 17.8 million units in operation in the U.S. including the 2007-2015 Mini Cooper, 2012-2016 Jeep Cherokee, 2014-2016 BMW 228i, 2015-2016 Chrysler 200, 2007-2016 Lexus LS460 and much more.
Rotating machines
Bosch has added 25 new SKUs for new and remanufactured alternators and starters covering late-model Domestic, Asian and European vehicles that are coming out of their warranty periods and are prime candidates for service in the aftermarket. The new part numbers extend coverage to 12.6 million vehicles in operation in the U.S.
Seventeen new SKUs for new and remanufactured starters are now available for models including the 2012-2014 Hyundai Elantra L4 cylinder 1.8L, 2008-2015 Chevrolet Express 2500 V8 cylinder 4.8L, 2010-2013 Ford E-350 Super Duty V10 cylinder 6.8L and more. Eight new SKUs for remanufactured alternators cover vehicles including the 2010-2014 Cadillac Escalade V8 cylinder 6.2L, 2014- 2016 Toyota Corolla L4 cylinder 1.8L, 2012-2014 Chevrolet Cruze L4 cylinder 1.4L and more.
Spark plugs
Bosch added 17 SKUs to its spark plug line in November. Through the addition of these new part numbers, coverage is extended to an additional 12.3 million domestic, Asian and European vehicles in operation.
Eight new Double Iridium spark plugs cover vehicles including the 2015-2016 Mercedes-Benz C400 4 cylinder 2.0L Turbo, 2013-2016 Subaru Outback H4 cyl. 2.5L, 2014-2015 Chevrolet Cruze L4 cylinder 1.8L and more.
Three new Double Iridium Pin-to-Pin plugs cover vehicles including the 2008-2012 Infiniti EX35 V6 cyl. 3.5L, 2012-2015 Honda Civic Hybrid L4 cylinder 1.5L and 2012-2016 Toyota Prius-C L4 cylinder and more.
Five new Iridium spark plugs cover vehicles including the 2011-2016 Mini Cooper L4 cylinder 1.6L Turbo, 2011-2016 Dodge Challenger V6 cylinder 3.6L, and 2012-2016 Ford Edge L4 cylinder 2.0L Turbo and more.
One new Nickel-yttrium/Copper-core spark plug covers the 2014-2016 Porsche (991) 911 GT3 H6 cylinder 3.8L.
Oxygen sensors
Bosch added six SKUs to the oxygen sensor line. The new part numbers extend coverage to 5.1 million late-model Domestic and Asian vehicles in operation.
The new premium OE-fit oxygen sensors are available for models including the 2013-2015 Ford Fusion, 2013-2015 Nissan Altima, 2015 Infiniti QX70, 2008-2012 Honda Accord and more.
Engine management
Eight new SKUs for secondary air pumps have been added to the Bosch Engine Management line. The new part numbers cover over 2.6 million vehicles in operation in the U.S. All Bosch secondary air pumps released to the aftermarket are plug-and-play and provide OE fit, form and function.
The new part numbers extend coverage for domestic and European vehicles in the U.S. including the 2005 Cadillac Deville, 2000-2005 Porsche 911, 2000-2004 Audi A6, 2009-2015 Mercedes G550 and more.
Fuel pumps
Bosch has added eight new fuel pump module assembly part numbers, extending coverage to an additional 1.1 million late-model Domestic and Asian vehicles in operation in the U.S.
The eight new SKUs cover models including the 2008-2012 Jeep Liberty, 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500, 2011-2015 Dodge Journey and more.
