VIP Opens Store Outside Boston

Nov. 12, 2020

VIP Tires & Service has moved into the Boston suburbs with the opening of a store in Brookline, Mass., the fifth in the state.

VIP bought and renovated the former Liner Tire store at 128 Boylston St. The 9,000-square-foot space has four service bays, seven lifts and onsite tire storage for 2,000 tires.

“VIP has experienced a lot of growth in 2020, and we’re excited that Brookline is part of that expansion,” says Tim Winkeler, CEO and president of VIP Tires & Service. “With humble Maine roots, it’s important for our business to invest in the communities we serve – we do this by renovating old buildings and hiring within the community, and that’s just what we did to make the Brookline opening a reality. We look forward to meeting local residents and hope they can experience what makes our tires and service offerings different than other stores.”

The new store features an open concept customer waiting area with a laptop bar with multiple seats and individual plug-ins, a coffee and tea bar, renovated restrooms, and a TV area. Additionally, the waiting area holds 40 tires on display so customers can see and touch different models before making their purchase decision.

Jovani LeJuene, an experienced automotive service manager, recently joined the VIP team as manager for the Brookline store. When this VIP location is fully staffed, customers will be greeted by a nine-person team including LeJuene.

The Brookline store is open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. This location gives VIP 61 stores in New England.
