Michelin North America Inc. and the Tire Industry Association (TIA) are accepting applications for their joint college scholarship program through Feb. 1 of next year.
The scholarship is open to high school seniors who are part-time employees or the dependent children of full-time employees at TIA member tire dealerships.
Michelin and TIA will award three scholarships totaling $6,250 to selected students.
All recipients "must be enrolled full-time each semester and working toward an undergraduate degree," say TIA officials.
Scholarships are renewable after each recipient's freshman year for three years "or until the degree is obtained, whichever is earlier."
