The Bridgestone Potenza RE92 tire has been selected as original equipment for three new Subaru Outback models.
Bridgestone/Firestone Americas Holding Inc. will supply P225/60HR16 tires with raised white letters for the Subaru Outback H6-3.0 L.L. Bean Edition, H6-3.0 Sedan and H6-3.0 VDC models. The application will
"Bridgestone/Firestone and Subaru have been working together for 24 months tuning this tire for the Outback platform," says Michael Martini, vice president, North American Consumer Original Equipment Sales, Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC.
The two companies have worked together on OE tire fitments for the last 10 years. The Bridgestone and Firestone brands account for 100% of Subaru's OE fitments in the United States and Canada, according to Modern Tire Dealer's 2002 Facts Issue.
