The Ohio Tire & Automotive Association (OTAA) has recognized three independent tire dealers for their many years of service on the group's board.

George Birsic of Lakewood Tire Pros & Auto Service in Lakewood, Ohio, served 32 years on the association's board.

Consumer Tire Inc.'s D.D. Coley, another honoree, was the first female president of OTAA.

Dave Frame of City Tire Service served as the group's president from 2013 to 2015.

OTAA President Jamie Hensley recently presented a plaque to each.

“We so appreciate the contributions of George, D.D. and Dave,” says Jamie Hensley. “They all have done so much for industry and we owe them a great debt of gratitude. We wanted to recognize their service and show our appreciation for their efforts to support the tire and automotive industry in 'The Buckeye State.'

"Our incoming board members have big shoes to fill," he adds.
