Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) has added three sizes - VF 600/65R26.5, VF 650/55R26.5 and VF 560/60R22.5 - to its V-Flexa ag trailer tire range.
The V-Flexa features a tread with three belt layers of heavy duty steel for enhanced casing strength; an extra-large footprint for even load distribution and soil compaction minimization; and other elements designed for improved durability, self cleaning and rolling resistance.
The new sizes also feature very-high flexion (VF) technology, which allows tires to carry 40% more weight at the same pressure as a standard ag tire, according to BKT officials.
"Preventing damage to the soil is becoming essential in order to respect the necessary sustainable parameters. Hence, the choice of the right tire to fit out tractors and trailers is proving essential."
