Pssst! Here's What Happened at the 2016 SEMA Show

Nov. 8, 2016

The 50th annual SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show and its partner show, the Global Tire Expo, are over. So what happened?

Modern Tire Dealer can tell you, because we were in attendance in Las Vegas all four days. Most of the new products will be showcased in our December issue. However, Editor Bob Ulrich decided to give you a preview of what happened, both in front of and behind the scenes, both on-site and off-site.

How many attendees were there? Was the general public allowed on the trade show floor? What happened when the lights went out at the Paris Hotel & Casino? What did Northcoast Research automotive industry analyst Nick Mitchell find out from walking the floor? Where was Carl Casalbore? And what were some of the product highlights?

Ulrich's insight can be found in his latest blog, "Here's the Inside Scoop on What Happened at the SEMA Show." He also credits another media outlet, the Las Vegas Review-Journal, with some of the information.
