Prometeon Exec Could Become Pirelli's Deputy CEO

March 25, 2021

Pirelli & Cie SpA Executive Vice Chairman and CEO Marco Tronchetti Provera is expected to propose that Giorgio Luca Bruno should assume the role of Pirelli's deputy CEO.

Bruno is CEO of Prometeon Tyre Group, a position he has held since January 2018.

He has been credited with "guiding the company's turnaround and managing to achieve and maintain positive results, even during the pandemic," according to Pirelli officials.

Provera's proposal, which will be presented to Pirelli's board on March 31, "aims to strengthen (Pirelli's) management team."

If approved, Bruno will be responsible for providing "strategic and industrial guidance."
