Distribution Stox Inc. has signed an agreement with Michelin North America Inc. to distribute the tiremaker's products in the Atlantic provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island.
The company calls it "an important breakthrough for this territory," and says it will have "a significant impact" on its distribution network.
"We are honored, and we consider this agreement as an outstanding opportunity. The addition of these brands strengthens our position but also our relationship with our customers from this territory," said Leif Ellefsen, executive vice president of chief operating officer for Distribution Stox.
The tire distribution company was founded in 2016 as a result of a partnership of four existing distributors, and it has goals of expanding throughout Canada. The company has 20 distribution centers.
