Love's Relocates Retread Plant, Will Ramp Up Capacity

April 22, 2021

Love's Travel Stops has relocated its Plainfield, Ind., retread plant to a new, 200,000-square-foot plant in Mooresville, Ind. An Oliver retreader, Love's has six retread plants across the country and is the eighth largest operation on MTD's 2021 Top 50 Retreaders List.

According to MTD research, Love's retreads 2,400 truck tires per day across all six facilities.

Love's says it is "in the process of further expanding its retread plant and distribution center capacity to increase the company’s commitment to ensuring customer success now and into the future."

“The new facility in Mooresville is double the size of our previous plant and allows us to provide greater coverage to our valuable customers,” says Steve Phillips, director of tire sales and plant operations for Love’s.

“This location is close to several interstates and is a great location to provide the best service, value and products that help get our customers back on the road quickly and safely.”

Love's sells retreads, as well as new truck tires, at more than 410 Love's Truck Care and Speedco locations.

MTD's 2021 Top 50 Retreaders list is featured in the April 2021 edition of the publication.
