Expert Plus Loyalty Program to be Expanded by Tenneco

Nov. 2, 2016

In 2017, Tenneco Inc.’s Expert Plus loyalty program will offer a dramatically expanded set of business-building tools and member rewards. The company previewed the enhanced program structure in conjunction with the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas. Open enrollment for next year’s Expert Plus program begins Dec. 1, 2016.

Available to any vehicle maintenance and repair business that relies on Monroe ride control and/or Walker emissions control products, Expert Plus is designed to help members grow their service volume through high-impact consumer and trade promotions,  “Preferred Consumer” discounts and other resources. Members can also earn valuable rewards through the program’s popular end-tab redemption process.

“Tens of thousands of vehicle service businesses have benefitted from Expert Plus over the past 19 years, and we’re confident we will attract a record number of new members for 2017,” says Jeff Koviak, vice president and general manager, North America Aftermarket, Tenneco. “This popular program is another key advantage of partnering with Tenneco and the Monroe and Walker brands.”

Each 2017 Expert Plus member will receive an extensive program activation package featuring a Monroe ride control “new shock” vs “worn-shock” interactive simulation display that highlights the brand’s new “Feel the Difference” Guarantee risk-free trial offer. Other program benefits include “Feel the Difference” Guarantee countermat, table tent and sales literature; a “Preferred Consumer” coupon book featuring 10 moneysaving offers on Monroe and Walker products; and the Monroe Ride Height Reference Guide (on USB drive). Members choosing the combined Monroe and Walker Expert Plus package also will receive an attractive metal tacker sign highlighting Walker QuietFlow SS stainless steel premium mufflers and assemblies.

All 2017 program members will receive access to Tenneco’s expanded Experts Learning Center eLearning portal and be awarded points that can be applied toward the Expert Plus rewards program. Other benefits include enrollment in the popular Monroe and Walker Dealer Locator consumer search tools at www.monroe.com and www.walkerexhaust.com; end-tab redemption rewards; and free downloads of Tenneco’s ERIS electronic catalog of emissions control systems and ride control components.

To encourage early enrollment so shops can begin benefitting from their memberships as quickly as possible, Tenneco is offering a “Twin Win” sweepstakes for service providers and the warehouse distributor or jobber salespeople who facilitate their enrollment. For every membership application submitted and approved by March 31, 2017, the qualifying WD/jobber salesperson and program member each will receive one entry into a drawing for a grand prize of 20,000 Expert Plus points and four finalist prizes of 15,000 points.

Expert Plus membership for 2017 is just $119. To learn more, contact your Monroe and/or Walker supplier or Tenneco sales representative.
