Belle Partners with Lincoln Tech on Classroom, Scholarships

Belle Tire recently presented three scholarships to students at Lincoln Tech's Indianapolis, Ind., facility.

Belle Tire Distributors Inc. has unveiled a newly remodeled and equipped classroom at the Indianapolis, Ind., campus of automotive trade school Lincoln Tech.

Belle Tire also presented three $1,000 scholarships to Lincoln Tech students.

Don Barnes III, the dealership's president, says that Belle Tire is continuously looking for skilled auto technicians. (Belle Tire - which is based in Allen Park, Mich. - has opened nearly 30 stores throughout central and northern Indiana over the past four years.)

"We turn to excellent training institutions like Lincoln Tech to provide candidates with the hands-on skills these careers require," he notes.

Brent Jenkins, president of Lincoln Tech's Indianapolis campus, says Belle Tire has been "an amazing partner."

The dealership plays "a key role in raising awareness among our students of career opportunities in the auto and diesel industries. We're grateful to count them among our employer partners and look forward to continuing the relationship for years to come.

"This sponsored classroom is an affirmation of that commitment," he adds.

Founded in 1946, Lincoln Tech has facilities in 14 states.
