What was your first job in the industry?

Wheel and tire technician.

What attracted you to the industry?

My dad and I always loved cars and trucks, which attracted me to the automotive industry.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your career?

Being project manager for new RNR Tire Express store locations.

Who has had the biggest influence on your career?

Larry Sutton, owner of RNR Tire Express. He has always taken the time to help develop me through the different stages of my 14-year career with RNR Tire Express. Larry has given me more opportunities than I deserve. All I had to give him was hard work and a commitment to help others.

What is your biggest accomplishment in the industry?

The day I became an owner/partner of RNR Tire Express.

What do you expect to be doing 20 years from now?

VP for RNR Tire Express

What’s the biggest issue facing the industry today?

Tire safety customer awareness.

What’s the one thing you wish someone would have told you before you entered the industry?

How much fun it is! I would have started sooner.

How do you encourage others to enter the industry?

Telling them how good it feels to help people afford safe dependable tires.

Tell us about your family.

I have a beautiful wife, Heather. She works in the medical field. I also have two dogs, Brian and Jesse. They are dachshunds.

What’s your favorite weekend activity?

Going out on my Sea-Doos.

What keeps you up at night?

Nothing, I sleep well.

I hate speaking in front of large groups of people.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Electronics.

Public speaking.

What’s your favorite food?

Steak.

If you could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, who would it be?

My Dad.
