Cooper Line Grows With Endeavor and Endeavor Plus

July 1, 2021

Tire dealers can expand their portfolio of Cooper tires with the Cooper Endeavor for passenger cars and the Endeavor Plus for SUVs. Both tires are available for dealer orders.

The tires are made to excel in treadwear, wet performance and steering response, while offering consumers a 65,000-mile warranty.

The Endeavor tires feature a new silica tread compound, and combined with water evacuation channels and biting edges in the treads, the tires offer better wet and snow braking than their predecessors — the Cooper Evolution Tour and Evolution HT. The Endeavor and Endeavor Plus are made to perform in all seasons and provide a quiet, comfortable ride, and they come with a 15% improvement in treadwear than their predecessors, the company says.

“When developing the new Endeavor and Endeavor Plus, our goal was to create tires that are truly all-around performers,” said Michiel Kramer, executive director of product marketing for Cooper. “We also focused on the needs of both consumers and tire dealers. The tires offer great mileage, as well as wet and dry handling performance. At the same time, we have expanded the size offering specifically for CUV and SUV fitments while reducing portfolio complexity, resulting in an easy-to-sell product.”

The Endeavor tires feature these Cooper technologies:

  • A new nylon overlay configuration evenly distributes pressure across the tread to increase tread life by 15%.
  • The Wear Square indicator provides a simple way to monitor the life of the tread.
  • Wet and winter performance are improved with the silica tread compound.
  • A new inner construction to enhance handling and give drivers a more predictable driving experience.

“Through our consumer research, we’ve learned that drivers feel more confident when they experience predictable performance in wet and dry conditions,” says Kramer. “The Endeavor line delivers reliable performance mile after mile in both.”

As of June 7, Cooper is a subsidiary of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
