Titan Will 'Go Big' at Farm Progress Show

July 19, 2021

Keeping in line with its Farm Progress Show theme of "Go Big," Titan International Inc. will display the world's biggest four-wheel-drive tractor in its booth at the event, which starts on Aug. 31.

The tractor, "Big Bud," is "a one-of-a-kind, 1,100-horsepower tractor built in 1977 that is capable of farming three acres per minute," say Titan officials.

The tractor is 27 feet long, 25 feet wide and 14 feet tall.

Attendees will have an opportunity to attend two scheduled talks with the tractor's owners on Aug. 31.

Titan also will display a variety of new products in its Farm Progress Show booth, including the Titan HK 458, a tire that targets extreme loader applications, and the Titan AgraEDGE, a radial, R-1W line that is available in 17 popular sizes, "with a range of sizes being introduced over the course of the next year" for four-wheel-drive tractors, grain carts and combines, according to company officials.

In addition, Titan will partner with the Indiana and Illinois Future Farmers of America "to host various fundraising activities" for both chapters.

This year's Farm Progress Show will take place in Decatur, Ill.

And the tire manufacturer will host "Cole the Cornstar," a popular YouTube influencer, at its booth. Cole and Titan recently teamed up on a three-part video series involving Titan Low Sidewall Technology super singles.
