Sentury Tire North America Will Debut Groundspeed in Las Vegas

Even before it breaks ground on its $530 million consumer tire plant in LaGrange, Ga., Sentury Tire North America will introduce the Groundspeed tire brand at the 2016 Global Tire Expo, which will run Nov. 1-4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The Global Tire Expo, sponsored by the Tire Industry Association, is part of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show.

The new line of Groundspeed tires includes six all-season models designed to meet the diverse driving needs of most domestic and import passenger vehicle and light truck brands. they are:

1. Voyager GT, featuring high-value and quality for most cars on the road today;

2. Voyager HP, offering strong performance and build quality for family and performance cars;

3. Voyager HT, delivering top technology, durability and a smooth ride for light trucks and SUVs;

4. Voyager SV, showcasing a confident blend of technology and luxury for SUVs and CUVs;

5. Voyager AT, combining rugged off-road performance with a quietly comfortable on-road ride; and

6. Voyager MT (in development), serving up aggressive looks, traction and a self-cleaning design.


Every Groundspeed tire is available in a wide selection of sizes and is backed by a generous warranty, ranging from 40,000 to 60,000 miles for added customer peace of mind.

Sentury Tire North America will break ground on its tire plant in early 2017. Once the facility is completed, it will have a production capacity of 12 million tires annually.

In addition to its new-generation factory, Sentury Tire North America's operations include an on-site proving grounds, test track, research and development center, sales and marketing offices and extensive warehousing and distribution facilities.
