Treadways Corp. is authorized to distribute Dunlop brand tires through its 14 Laramie Service Centers under a new wholesale agreement with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. In addition, six of the 14 service centers also will distribute Goodyear tires.
The G3 Xpress wholesale agreements between Treadways and Goodyear "represent a very positive step forward for our long-standing, strong relationship with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.," says Dan Wire, Treadways' CEO.
"The addition of these major tire brands will enhance the growth of the Laramie brand when marketed by retail dealers in an integrated product screen," says Jim Hannon, vice president of sales and marketing for the Laramie Tire division.
Laramie will distribute the Dunlop brand through its distribution centers in the following cities: Stockton and Rancho Dominguez, Calif.; Dallas, Houston and San Marcos, Texas; Denver, Colo.; Ocala, Fla.; Ellenwood, Ga.; Rockford, Ill.; Kansas City, Mo.; Albuquerque, N.M.; Columbus, Ohio; and Southaven, Miss. It also will be distributed through its Norristown, Pa., facility until its new headquarters and warehouse in East Norriton, Pa., is completed later this year.
