Topdon USA has opened an office in Rockaway, N.J., and has made two key, executive-level appointments.
The diagnostics tool supplier has acquired a 7,000-square-foot office and a 5,000-square-foot distribution center in Rockaway. The expansion will bring at least 30 new jobs to the area.
"Upon reviewing the company's needs, we realized that Topdon needed a bigger space for our inventory, more customer support to match our growing customer base and marketing specialists to continue to drive our sales," says Chad Schnitz, Topdon USA's new vice president.
A near-20-year auto diagnostic industry veteran, Schnitz specializes "in customer acquisition and implementing marketing programs designed to increase revenue for automotive diagnostics companies," according to Topdon officials.
Before joining Topdon, he led Autel's strategic accounts national sales team.
In related news, Topdon has hired Victor "Vince" Lee to be its marketing director. Lee's background includes experience in e-commerce, electronics, banking and health care and he has held a wide range of positions, including marketing director of digital products, senior manager of brand and search, multi-channel marketing director and others.
Past achievements include optimizing brand and best search practices, streamlining branding automation, reducing commercialization risks, overseeing digital agencies and more.
"Vince has proven himself at every level as a talented marketing director with an eye for opportunities," says Schnitz.
