The new Continental CompactMaster EM targets loaders and telehandlers and is "specifically designed to help operators handle demanding, rough conditions," says Benjamin Hubner, product line manager, agricultural tires, Continental Commercial Specialty Tires.
The tire features Continental's new Turtle Shield tread technology and twisted steel cord.
"The hard shell and more flexible steel wire construction helps to prevent cuts and damages whilst offering greater stability.”
The CompactMaster EM also has a higher amount of rubber with a finely structured block to offer better mileage and easier stationary turns.
And its tread pattern has been engineered to withstand the lateral forces of stationary turns, providing enhanced puncture resistance.
It is geared toward vehicles that "work on paved surfaces, asphalt, sand and gravel," according to Continental officials.
