Nov. 4, 2021

Hamaton Inc. highlighted a new, universal tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor and a new TPMS scan tool at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show.

The U-Pro Hybrid 2.5 universal sensor features dual frequencies and a dual-valve option, according to Hamaton officials.

It offers more coverage than its predecessor, can receive new TPMS protocols and is compatible with TPMS tools that are manufactured by ATEQ. “Enhanced housing ensures optimum fit with OE and aftermarket wheels.”

The U-Pro Hybrid 2.5 sensor also comes with a three-year warranty.

Hamaton describes its Hybrid HT TPMS scanner as a “feature-rich, yet affordable tool.” It is Bluetooth-ready, updates via Wi-Fi and feature a color display. The tool comes with an OBDII connector and an ID match feature. It is currency available, according to Hamaton officials.

“We heard from tire dealers that they wanted as Wi-Fi-enabled tool,” says Enri Osmanii, general manager, North America, Hamaton. “When we launch new software, it will automatically download into the tool.”

Hamaton's SEMA Show booth is number 41055 and is located in the south hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
