Best-One of Indy Founder Dennis Dickson Retires

Nov. 10, 2021

After leading Indy Tire Centers Inc. dba Best-One of Indy for more than 30 years, CEO Dennis Dickson retired in October.

Dickson was a founder of the Indianapolis-based tire dealership. In 1986 he partnered with Paul Zurcher, Ray Monteith, Ross Kubacki and Scott Monteith to form Indy Truck Tire Center, and partnered with the Best-One organization.

The company was dedicated to serving large fleets, and under Dickson's leadership the company grew to more than 10 locations.

“Our father, Paul Zurcher, had the privilege of working closely with Dennis for many years, and we have seen firsthand his passion for the tire industry and the Best-One organization,” Larry and Mark Zurcher, co-CEOs of Best-One said in a statement. “On behalf of Best-One and the Zurcher family, we thank Dennis for his dedication, leadership and contributions to our organization and the industry.”

Indy Truck Tire Center evolved over the years to include divisions for retail and wholesale tire businesses. In 2018 the company changed its name to Best-One of Indy, and the tire dealership has grown to 15 locations with both retail and commercial stores in Indianapolis and points north and south.

Dickson and his wife Denise are living in Arizona and both look forward to traveling.
