The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has scheduled six in-person, 400-Level Certified Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Instructor classes for 2022, with the first to take place March 29-April 1 in Brooksville, Fla.
TIA says the four-day Certified CTS Instructor class covers all aspects of medium/heavy truck tire service and also teaches attendees how to instruct a 300-Level Certified Technician Course in the field.
“In-person instruction has been a key component of TIA’s 400-Level instructor certification programs since 1997,” says Kevin Rohlwing, senior vice president of training, TIA. “There are a lot of benefits associated with hands-on instruction and demonstrations, so we are excited to return to the field with in-person classes to continue building a network of certified instructors that improves tire safety in the shop and on the highway.”
Course tuition is $950. The tuition does not include the sleeping room rate.

April 19-22 – Youngstown, Ohio
May 10-13 – Baltimore
Sept. 20-23 – Youngstown, Ohio
Oct. 11-14 – Louisville, Ky.
Dec. 6-9 – Brooksville, Fla.
