Yokohama Tire Corp. expanded its Advan line with the Advan Sport V107, an ultra-high performance tire available in 54 sizes.
The new tire debuts in sizes ranging from 18 to 22 inches, plus Yokohama plans to add more sizes in early 2023.
“With a new compound and construction, nothing is compromised with the Advan Sport V107,” says Drew Dayton, senor product planning manager for consumer tires, Yokohama.
“It provides excellent wet/dry performance, superior grip, precise handling, driver stability at high speeds and, of course, a quiet and comfortable ride – everything and more drivers expect from Yokohama’s premium ultra-high performance Advan line.”
Highlights of the V107 include ultra-micro silica compound that improves grip for cornering and braking on both wet and dry surfaces; a Rayon matrix body ply that aids in responsive handling on dry roads; solid center ribs in the tread help with steering and cornering; the tire’s profile allows for stability at high speeds; and Yokohama’s sipe technology provides a quiet.
