Toyo Treadpass Returns to SEMA Show

Oct. 19, 2022

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. is returning to the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show with 28 world-debut vehicles at the Toyo Tires Treadpass area.

Toyo Tires Treadpass will be returning for its ninth year at the 2022 SEMA Show, Nov. 1-4, and Toyo says the area will highlight the largest concentration of world-debut vehicles between the central and south halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

On display adjacent to Treadpass will be an art installation by artist and photographer, 2wenty, and a live painting demonstration by artist and designer Gregory Siff.

The 28 vehicles debuting at Treadpass include a Mercedes Benz 300 SL; a 1993 Mazda RX7 with a race spec, M120 Mercedes V12 Motor and HGT Sequential transmission; a time attack-inspired 2019 Audi RS3 and an all-new 2022 Ford Maverick.

On display at Treadpass will be the Toyo Open Country R/T Trail, an all-new, on- and off-road rugged terrain tire.

The tire will be produced in 47 unique size and load combinations - fitting 16-inch to 24-inch wheel diameters-  and up to a 38-inch overall diameter. The most popular sizes will start to be available in November, with additional sizes/fitments to follow.

Toyo’s Open Country R/T and Open Country A/T III tires will also be featured.

“We are excited to bring Toyo Tires Treadpass back to SEMA for its ninth year,” says Stan Chen, senior manager, events, sponsorships and motorsports, Toyo.

“Partnering with the best in the industry allows us to highlight our top-of-the-line products that help elevate the overall look and performance of these world-debut vehicles.”

Toyo, in addition, will be bringing back its popular, limited-edition pins in collaboration with Leen Customs. The 10 pins will be distributed at designated times during the show.
