Continental Tire the Americas LLC has promoted Shaun Uys to the head of the company's replacement truck tire market in the Americas. The post includes responsibility for Continental's key truck tire fleet accounts.
Renato Sarzano, head of Continental's truck tire business in the Americas, made the announcement.
Uys has more than 22 years of experience in the tire sector. He joined Continental in 2000 and has held many positions in the tire sector internationally including South Africa, Germany and U.S. He most recently served as vice president of the original equipment truck tire business in the Americas and strategic key fleet accounts.
“It’s a huge honor to be appointed head of the U.S. Truck Tire Replacement business,” says Uys. “I’m eager to focus our attention on providing value and opportunities to grow our fleet and dealers business. I look forward to meeting our valued customers and working closely with the team.”
