Trimax is opening a 100,000-square-foot mixing warehouse in China. "We'll have the ability to mix our brands in one container," says Chris Tolbert, the company's director of sales (far left, with Stanley Wang, owner of Maxon International, Trimax's parent company, and Stella Wang at the 2022 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show.)

Trimax Tire is expanding its product offerings. In 2022 alone, the company added 13 sizes to the Haida HD937 and 13 sizes to its Haida HD869 tire. And an all-weather tire in one of Trimax's other lines is on the way in 2023.

The Haida size additions represent "a range of product that not everyone has, but fits our marketing, which is plus sizes and bigger sizes that people use with wheels to dress up their vehicles," says Chris Tolbert, director of sales, Trimax.

"Moving into 2023, we're going to come out with an X/T (extreme-terrain) line. Because more and more people have SUVs and pickups, it keeps evolving. At one time, it was A/T (all-terrain), H/T (highway-terrain) and M/T (mud-terrain). Then (the industry) came out with R/T (rugged-terrain) and now X/T."

Trimax also will unveil an all-weather tire - its first foray into that category - next year.

"In the Farroad line, we're going to come out with an all-weather (product)," according to Tolbert. "It's similar to M/T versus R/T ... winter tire versus all-weather."

An all-weather tire "gives you the benefits in winter without the changeover. People don't have space" to store tires.

"It's a hassle to change them" when seasons switch, says Tolbert.

The Farroad all-weather tire will be available during the second quarter of 2023.

"In the Kapsen, line, we're going to roll out a winter tire. Kapsen is a new line we took on this year. We rolled out the Kapsen product in June 2022. We sell (Kapsen) in other countries and we thought it would fit the U.S. market."

The Kapsen winter tire will feature 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification and will be available next year.

In addition, Trimax is opening a 100,000-square-foot mixing warehouse in Qingdao, China.  "We'll have the ability to mix our brands in one container. Let's say somebody buys Haida, but also wants the Farroad all-weather - we can combine those. We think this will be a game-changer."
