Wegmann Automotive USA Inc. highlighted its Alligator sensi.it RS and tire pressure monitoring system at last week's Specialty Equipment Market Association Show.
The sensor has vehicle coverage of 99.7%, 100% replicates fill original equipment manufacturer functionality and is compatible with various industry tools, say Wegmann officials.
Wegmann also has created a universal TPMS service kit in the Alligator line. The single service kit SKU works for 97% of the metal valve stem TPMS sensors in North America.
And Wegmann unveiled a single service SKU that works for 75% of all rubber snap-in valve stem TPMS sensors in North America.
“The benefit of the universal kits is the simplification of only one tool, which helps speed up the maintenance and training process. And a reduction in SKUs equals a reduction in dead stock."
