TIA Offers Advanced Earthmover Tire Service Class

The class offers comprehensive hands-on training using a service truck, hydraulic tools and a variety of equipment that can aid technicians in servicing tires.

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is offering an in-person Advanced Hands-On Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) training class Dec. 13-16 in Brooksville, Fla., targeted at earthmover tire technicians.  

The class offers comprehensive hands-on training using a service truck, hydraulic tools and a variety of equipment that can aid technicians in servicing tires.  

Topics covered include service truck operation; preventative maintenance training, including service trucks, cranes, compressors, etc.; site preparation and equipment; hydraulic tool operation and maintenance; wheel and rim fastening systems; wheel inspections and more. 

Class sessions will run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays and 8:00 a.m. through noon on Fridays. Students successfully completing a final exam will receive a certificate of completion.
