Monro Inc. has promoted Cindy Donovan to the position of senior vice president and chief information officer. She'll develop and implement Monro's information technology strategy and also lead the company's long-term strategic goals.

“Cindy's veteran experience in IT, strategic planning, project management and governance and compliance has been a substantial asset to Monro,” says Mike Broderick, Monro’s president and CEO. “Her leadership will drive continuous improvement in IT operations and technology enablement, which are both mission critical.”

Donovan joined Monro in 2019 as the director of project management and data architecture and was promoted twice in 2020, first in January to vice president of information technology, and then again in December to senior vice president of information technology.

In her time with Monro, she's led a company-wide technology transformation. She created a team of 60-plus IT professionals and partners to cover a wide span of topics and functions in information technology and implemented multiple hardware and software solutions.

Prior to joining Monro, Donovan worked in an assortment of IT roles and leadership roles at IEC Electronics, Paychex, Carestream Health and Kodak. She earned her degree in computer science and mathematics from State University of New York College in Geneseo, N.Y.
