Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will display its newest, ultra-large haulage mining tire, the 63-inch RM-4B+, during this month’s MINExpo 2016 in Las Vegas, Nev.
“The new RM-4B+ contains our latest technologies in materials, design, construction and manufacturing, and is precision-made – using our cutting-edge tire manufacturing equipment – to help mine haul trucks operate at optimal levels,” says Caroline Pajot, general manager of global off-the-road tires for Goodyear.
“This tire represents the culmination of all we have learned over the years. We believe it will become the ‘go-to’ tire for large haulage mining operations.”
Also during MINExpo 2016, Goodyear will demonstrate how it helps mining operations reduce their costs through:
