The Radar Renegade A/T 5 already was available in 21 sizes. Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd. will almost double the size lineup in September, 2016.
The 18 additional sizes will be available in 17-, 18-, 20- and 22-inch metric and flotation sizes up to 37 inches in overall diameter. Omni United will add 18 sizes to the lineup in the fourth quarter of 2016, and another 10 by early 2017.
Twenty-one of the 67 sizes will be have raised outline white letters.
The all-terrain tire (pictured) is designed to perform well in all types of environments, including dirt, mud and snow, while maintaining a quiet ride. Positioned to compete in the value segment, the A/T 5 "offers the very compelling performance attributes of the innovative Stone Ejector Technology, 3-ply body construction and a sophisticated but aggressive look," says the company.
Stone Ejector Technology helps prevent stones from clogging in the grooves and drilling into the tire. The A/T 5 has a raised serration between the tread blocks that actively deforms when the tire is rotating, opening, closing and releasing as the tire goes through the contact patch. This action helps to eject stones out of the tread pattern.
Other features include:
* 3-body-ply construction that adds a third layer of protection that helps strengthen and stiffen the tire to reduce the risk of punctures in the sidewall and tread areas. This makes the tire more durable in rugged terrains.
* a wide center tread block designed not only to give the tire a sophisticated but aggressive look, but also provide it with enhanced stability, handling and even treadwear in nearly all types of terrain.
The tire is backed by a UTQG rating of of 500 AA and a 30,000-mile limited tread wear warranty.
