Aug. 16, 2016

Kyle LeDuc and Toyo Tires captured a Round 11 Win on Saturday in the Pro 4 class during the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series at the Wild West Motorsports Park near Reno, NV.

LeDuc is pursuing his third consecutive Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) Pro4 Championship.  If he gets it, he will set a new record for the series.  His Monster Energy / Toyo Tires Ford truck relies on Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires for performance on the track.

LeDuc qualified in second for Saturday’s Round 11 race.  He then led a charge throughout the 16-lap Main Event to capture the win.  In addition, he set the Fastest Lap on lap eight of the race with a time of 51.251.  During Sunday’s Round 12, LeDuc qualified fasted, and ultimately captured a third place finish during the Main Event.  That puts LeDuc within six points of the Pro 4 class championship lead.

“Our race in Reno was all about speed and grip,” said LeDuc.  “Our Toyo tires gave us the edge with speeds as low as 15-mph, and up to 105.  They provided amazing performance all around.”

Finishing on the podium in second place during Sunday’s Pro Lite main event was Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg with his MavTV / Toyo Tires Chevrolet competing on Toyo Open Country tires.  Stenberg also finished second during Round 9 at Glen Helen, showing his strength is the second half of the racing season.

“We congratulate Kyle LeDuc for winning Round 11 near Reno this weekend,” said Stan Chen, senior manager of events and sponsorships, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.  “With his top finishes in the season, he sits within striking distance for capturing his third consecutive Pro 4 class championship.  We also congratulate Jeremy Stenberg for capturing another podium in Pro Lite on his Toyo Open Country tires.”

The next races will take place September 23 – 24 at the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in Lake Elsinore, CA.  Following that is the last race weekend of the series to decide the championship, October 22 – 23 at the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, AZ.
