Simple Tire Offers Free Shipping to Online Tire Buyers

Aug. 4, 2016

Simple Tire LLC has unveiled this week it is no longer charging shipping fees for certain brands of tires — 17 brands to be exact. It covers 5,000 kinds of tires, the company says.

Simple Tire says eliminating shipping removes “the last barrier to buying tires on the internet.”

The free shipping applies to these brands: BFGoodrich, Bridgestone, Continental, Cooper, Falken, Firestone, Fuzion, General, Goodyear, Hankook, Kelly, Kumho, Michelin, Nitto, Pirelli, Toyo, and Yokohama.

Tires can be shipped to an installer, a business, or home address, the company says.

Kevin Burke, director of marketing for Simple Tire, says “Free shipping is a big deal for us and dealers. It is designed to grow our business and grow sales for the independent tire dealers that have signed up with Simple Tire.”

He says the system helps dealers sell more tires and manage their inventory.

When a customer places an order online, Simple Tire finds a dealer closest to the customer with a competitively priced product and then orders the tire from that dealer. “The process is easy for everyone involved, especially dealers as there is no cost to sign up with Simple Tire,” Burke says.

The company has created a network of independent dealers across the country. “They provide us with incredible coverage of the nation, but we want many more so we can expand and deepen our footprint.”
